The Mansfield Aviation Club (MAC), established in 1949, is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides aviation scholarships.  

Throughout its history, the Mansfield Lahm Airport has served our community by being one of our state’s finest general aviation airports. The cost of flying has become more expensive, and many who had the dream of becoming a pilot may have found it beyond their financial means. MAC scholarships can help people fulfill their dreams and keep general aviation in our community vibrant into the future.

To be eligible for the MAC Aviation Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a United States citizen
• Live in Richland County or a contiguous county
• Be at least 16 years of age by the application deadline
• Hold a current FAA Student Pilot Certificate at the time of application
